HOW YOU CAN HELP PACIFIC NORTHWEST BLUES IN THE SCHOOLS

Pacific Northwest Blues in the Schools is an IRS Section 501(c)(3) organization. All contributions to PNBIS are tax-deductible. Your contributions will be used to fund our program, helping to purchase musical equipment and supplies, pay teacher costs, and provide ongoing support for our operations.

In addition, PNBIS has established an endowment fund, a permanent fund with annual earnings being used to advance the charitable mission of the organization. Distributions of a certain percentage are paid out each year from the endowment, while the principal amount of the endowment almost always stays intact. The endowment provides stable funding for Blues in the Schools programs, and will provide for programs that extend our outreach and unique mission in the community.

2008 PNBIS WISH LIST

• A new PA and monitors (PNBIS is able to get Peavey equipment at almost cost.)

• Four Electric Guitars (PNBIS is able to get new "Squire" Stratocasters for $150.00 apiece.)
• Four guitar amps with at least a 12" speaker in them
• Six guitar stands
• Congo drums
• A set of good bongos
• Electric and Acoustic Guitar Strings, Electric Bass Strings, Picks and Cords
• A Bass amp (Peavey Keyboard amp with 3-4 inputs for bass)

• Harmonicas (PNBIS will purchase for students to keep. Costs are around $200.00 for each program.)
